Spin MP3 with turntable D-Vinyl2020 ¢â can work with two turntables, and you can get the real controlling ability with MP3 digital audio, such as finding the CUE, back CUEing, fast/slow spinning of the record, and even scratching with your turntables. This feature will fully expand the territory of the creativity of not only a beatmixing DJ but also a turntablist. 2. No Limited Record case D-Vinyl2020 ¢â can handle MP3 files without limitation as a various playlist. The only one limitation would be the size of your HDD. You could be the mobile DJ with millions of records and could go everywhere with your Laptop and D-Vinly2020 ¢â 3. ANALOG VINYL, MP3 PLAYER, and DIGITAL VINYL MODES D-Vinyl2020 ¢â use the MP3 files on your HDD under the MP3 PLAYER MODE without turntables, under the DIGITAL VINYL MODE with turntables. You can even play your normal records in one deck while an MP3 is playing on the other deck. 4. It will allow you to change the BPM of the song without affecting the Key of the song. The range you can go from -100% to +100%. The pitch control range setting can be set at ?8%, ?12%, ?25% or ?100% in the Setup dialog box. 7. AUTO/MANUAL/PRE Beat Counter This Beat Counter gives you the absolutely safe beat detection and beat match with three advanced BPM management features. There are three different BPM modes, that is auto, manual, and pre count modes. In the auto BPM mode, you don't need to do anything in order to count the BPM. This auto BPM mode works very well with most of the dance music like HipHop, Techno, Jungle, Industrial, Drum'n'Bass, and etc. If you want to use the BPM detectionmanually, you can do that. Also if you want to use an accurate BPM for songs in every situation, you can pre-count the BPM data in the MP3 Editor ¢â S/W that comes with D-Vinyl2020 , and store the BPM data in the MP3 file directly. Once you save the BPM data, this data can now be used. In the beat mix section of D-Vinyl2020 ¢â , you can control all your mixes under the same BPM. 8. Effects the four to choose from are: CHOP, AUTO PAN, SOUND EFFECT, and VINYL SIMULATOR. Also, you can add and assign your favorite effect in the Setup dialog box. Also SoundGraph, Inc will provide the more effects through the S/W updates. You can insert this effect directly using the push of Jog wheel. D-Vinyl2020 H/W 1 D-Vinyl2020 Installation CD 1 Digital Vinyl Records for Turntable Use 2 Audio CD for CD Player Use 1 Phono Audio Cable/Power Cable 3/1 Manual(Installation Guide,Owner's Guide, Advanced OS Setting for Windows 2000, XP Users) 3 LCD Display shows all the Djing information for the remix. It simply displays the direction and speed of the playback, the play type (single or continuous play), CUE/Loop editing, the current state of CUE/Loop and the pause/play status. It also shows the information about the playlist and tracks like total track No., current track No., playing time, key value, pitch value and BPM value. With this switch, you can select the playing mode. There are 3 different modes as follows: 1. MP3 Player Mode - MP3 playing mode with the control by only D-vinyl2020¢â H/W not by turntables. 2. Digital Vinyl Mode - MP3 playing mode with the control by both D-vinyl2020¢â H/W and Turntables or CD player. 3. Analog Vinyl Mode - Standard vinyl record playing mode with no D-vinyl2020¢â software involved. It bypasses the program. Jog wheel rotation is used for various functions such as detail cueing, track/position searching, playlist searching, and effect control. Pushing the Jog wheel is used for reverse playback of the song during the song playback, used for playlist selection during the paused song, and used for effect inserting when the LED of the Active Effect on. All the basic functions of playing are in this section such as Cue/Load, Pause, Play, Loop buttons and saving and searching the Cue and Loop points. So you can play the song, make and save cue points, and make and save Loops. In this section, you have the beat mix functions like beat matching function, Beat Sync function and Auto start function. With these functions, you can match the BPM of 2 songs playing and have advanced functions like Auto/Manual BPM detection and Auto start of the song according to the other songs beat. You can change the pitch with this pitch slider in MP3 player mode. You can change the pitch control setting to + or - 100 %, 25%, 12%, 8% and 6%. You can record your remix onto your HDD as a wave file during the play. There are Record, Pause, and Stop buttons. In this section, you can save the Cue, Loop and also search the saved Cue point or the Loop you want. You can save each 20 Cue points and Loop points into a MP3 file directly. The detailed Cue and Loop saving could be done in MP3 Editor¢â.     All MP3 files that the D-Vinyl2020¢â play, are managed through the Playlist Editor¢â. Each Playlist can contain MP3 files up to 99 songs. In the Playlist Editor¢â, you can store the playlist and you can easily load the stored playlist on deck A and B of the D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W. You can also load the different playlist during your mix in D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W. This playlist shows very useful information for DJs like Title, Time, BPM, CUE, and LOOP. The BPM, CUE, LOOP data can be made and stored in the D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W, or MP3 Editor¢â. This BPM, CUE, LOOP data storing feature is the most important and valuable feature of D-Vinyl2020¢â. These features will help you to make more creative mix of MP3 audio files.   This MP3 Editor¢â can edit the CUE/ LOOP/ BPM/ ID3 tag of the MP3 file and save the editing information in the MP3 file. The edited and saved BPM data in D-Vinyl2020 MP3 Editor will be the important basis for all the advanced features like BPM match, Auto start, and Auto Pan, Auto Chop in D-Vinyl2020¢â. You can choose the accurate BPM data among the 6 different candidate values through the powerful Beat Detection Algorithm. You can edit ID3 tag information in the MP3 file, and also save and store your favorite CUE and LOOP into your song for up to 20 points to the MP3 file directly using this wave viewer type editor. Using these functions, you can go to any point in your songs at any time you want in the D-Vinyl2020¢â. You can use this CUE/LOOP data even when you are working with your turntable. The outlook of the S/W is almost the same like the H/W, but it has more features than the H/W. In the MP3 player mode, the background of the S/W has the orange color. In the Digital Vinyl mode, the background of the S/W has the light blue color. And in the Analog Vinyl mode, the background of S/W is dark gray and nothing is highlighted because you want to work with analog vinyl records and not with MP3s. You can choose the mode you want and you can use MP3 player mode even when you are working without Turntables.All the buttons can be accessed through the H/W, and the keyboard and mouse does not work except the "ALT+F4" key in order to exit from the D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W. It displays all the existing playlists in the subfolder of D-Vinyl2020 folder. If you chosse the playlist, you will see all the MP3 files of the chosen playlist in the MP3 List section. You can make a new playlist and edit the playlist with NEW, IMPORT, DELETE, SAVE and SAVE AS buttons. It displays the information of the MP3s in the selected playlist. You can see the File name, Playing time, BPM, the number of CUE&Loop edited by MP3 Editor¢â and the path of the folder, so it would be very helpful for DJs. You can also load the MP3 file to add in the playlist and also you can choose a directory to load all the files in the folder and delete the file in the playlist with LOAD, LOAD DIR, DEL, DEL ALL funtions. At the bottom, you see the picture of turntable and mixer. In this part, you can select the playlist and put it into 2 turnatable pictures A and B. Then, when you start the main mixing S/W by "Run D-Vinyl2020" function, you will see the songs of the selected playlist in each playlist panel in main D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W. You can use the button or picture icon. If you click Setup button or the mixer icon, Setup dialog box will show up, then you can customize the parameters of D-Vinyl2020¢â. It shows the information about CUE/LOOP/BPM of the current MP3 file. Left LCD panel shows file name, song title, ID3 tag information (artist, album, length, genre, file size, encoding qualities), number of CUE/LOOP and BPM value. Right LCD panel shows all the information with MP3 editing like time and index of CUE/LOOP/BPM LOOP. It shows the total wave view of the current MP3 file. You can see all of CUE/LOOP/BPM information through this window. There is an MP3 time indicator below of the wave type window. You can see the different color of the CUE/LOOP/BPM in this window. It shows the control button setup and detailed wave window. In the left part of the control panel, you can control playback of MP3, detect BPM and store CUE/LOOP. The right part of control panel shows the current playing view, beat position, and CUE/LOOP in detailed wave type view. This part of the S/W looks the same with the H/W dual LCD. All the information about the LCD display is in the H/W features section. And this LCD panel can show the ID3 Tag and MP3 file information during track search. This is very useful because the size of font is small in the playlist, but you can see the large font in this LCD panel during the track search. ID3 Tag and MP3 file information in this LCD panel are about the <file name>, <track number in the playlist>, <title>, <artist>, <album>, <genre>, <length>, <file size>, <BPM data>, and <number of CUE, LOOP> in the MP3 file. This part of the S/W looks the same as the H/W controller. The only difference with the D-Vinyl2020¢â H/W is that the pitch range indicator. This shows the pitch range of D-Vinyl2020¢â S/W. This range could be set differently in the Setup dialog box in the Playlist Editor¢â as the following picture. (¡¾8%, ¡¾12%, ¡¾25, ¡¾100) Also, you can see more information about the CUE/LOOP search, save and load CUE/LOOP, save BPM and Effect information inside the Jog. This part of the S/W represents the playback of MP3 files in two ways. One is "Virtual Turntable" mode and the other is "Wave Viewer" mode. You can set this viewer mode in the Setup dialog box.In the Virtual Turntable, you can easily synchronize your turntable movement with the virtual moving turntable. This is very useful when you are working with the turntable. Also you can find the volume peak meter in the right side of virtual turntable and velocity peak meter that represent the speed of the turntable in the left side of the virtual turntable. In the Wave Viewer, you can easily find the playing position, CUE, LOOP and also the BPM beat detection maker with the wave profile of the song. D-Vinyl2020¢â manages the MP3 songs with a playlist. This playlist could be exchanged with other MP3 players like WinAmpa. You can add, remove, and change the order of songs in the playlist. You can prepare several playlists before your gig and switch the playlist during your mix like a CD change in the CD player by clicking the Jog when the track is paused. In the playlist panel, you can see the BPM data, the number of CUE, LOOP, and MP3 file location. Digital Vinyl Record (D-Vinyl Record) of the SoundGraph, Inc. has the special frequency signal in the groove in order to receive the dynamics of the turntable. If you take off the needle of the turntable from the record groove, the song would be stopped, but even though you move the position of the needle or cueing the needle to another position, the song would just go again from the stopped point. D-Vinyl record generates the speed and the direction of the rotation. That is to say D-Vinyl2020¢â does not detect the absolute position or time code but it calculates the relative position according to the received dynamic information in the turntable rotational speed and direction. In order to move the CUE position in the song or in the next 99 songs, you just use the navigation buttons in the D-Vinyl2020¢â H/W like a dual CD player. We believe that our unique method will help you choose the strong point between the turntable and dual CD player - that represents the strong point of analog and the new digital way. At the rear side of H/W there are the RCA ports and USB port to connect with the turntables, mixer and your computer. Connection of D-vinyl2020¢â H/W is similar to the current Djing setting, the major difference is the connection of the PHONO IN signal. You must connect the PHONO OUT RCA jack of the turntable or or CD Player to the PHONO IN connector in the backside of the D-vinyl2020¢â . In order to use the analog vinyl record, you must connect the BYPASS PHONO out RCA jack to the PHONO IN connector of the mixer. The main sound signal from D-vinyl2020¢â H/W will be transferred through the LINE OUT connection. You must connect the LINE OUT. this connector is used for the Phono signal from each deck of the turntable. Please connect the Phono signals from both turntables to each Phono In connector of deck A and B. It is same also when you use the CD player.   this connector is used for the Phono signal from the turntable bypass to the mixer through the D-Vinyl2020¢â H/W.
