What inspired you to be a DJ?
I come from an extremely open-minded, musical background; both of my great-uncles on my mother’s side managed nightclub chains around Melbourne in the 1970’s and 80’s and were prominent DJ’s for that era. My parents even met at a club, so as I was growing up they always threw parties and played music around the house. It was almost a natural progression for me to love music and dance and become the ultimate combination of the two: a DJ.
What has been your most memorable moment as a DJ?
When I performed my debut set at FFOUR nightclub, the crowd was incredibly generous and their reaction to the Barbarella costume was just the icing on the cake.
What genres do you prefer to play at the moment?
House-electro, French-house
Describe your style? What do you enjoy most about DJing? How would you deal with a seated crowd? Do you prefer CD or vinyl and why? When you’re not working as a DJ who would you go and see (local or international)? |
