What inspired you to be a DJ?
I come from an extremely open-minded, musical background; both of my great-uncles on my mother’s side managed nightclub chains around Melbourne in the 1970’s and 80’s and were prominent DJ’s for that era. My parents even met at a club, so as I was growing up they always threw parties and played music around the house. It was almost a natural progression for me to love music and dance and become the ultimate combination of the two: a DJ. 

What has been your most memorable moment as a DJ?
When I performed my debut set at FFOUR nightclub, the crowd was incredibly generous and their reaction to the Barbarella costume was just the icing on the cake.

What genres do you prefer to play at the moment?
House-electro, French-house

Describe your style?
Fresh, colourful and psychedelic with an electric twist

What do you enjoy most about DJing?
The adrenaline rush of teasing a familiar song out of a mix and watching the crowd go wild

How would you deal with a seated crowd?
I’d turn up the music, completely get lost in it, interact with the crowd and show them I’m having an awesome time and the rest, they say is history
 
What do you essentially hope to accomplish through DJing?
Simply to watch people let go, dance around and have fun- it’s so infectious and rewarding

Do you prefer CD or vinyl and why?
Definitely vinyl, I love the manual control that it offers and believe that it vastly contributes to the performance aspect of DJing
